Rest assured I have already emailed OSPI to ask about the the future for testing students with severe disabilities. These kids now do an “alternative” assessment called the WAAS portfolio. I was told a committee would be created to discuss the creation of an assessment that could actually be valid, reliable, and useful for these kids. We’ll see what happens….
